Today my daughter came to town to help me get some things done that I needed to get done before a holiday weekend. She went with me to a vacant lake lot (I try not to go alone) to put up signs and take new photos because it has been bush hogged. Then we stopped and had lunch (well we ordered it through the window and ate it in the car).
Abigail then went to my house to do some cleaning up and I caught up on my "to do" list at the office. Then it was walking the dogs around 5 and then we were off to work on finishing up "staging" a house I have listed. And we actually almost got finished. I forgot to take nails, so I'm back to hang some art work and add some books to a naked book shelf in the morning.
When I was leaving I noticed the owners sea-doo was not in it's place and when I called to tell him that I'd poked things into closets and moved things around and that his sleeper sofa is really HEA-VY! I mentioned it. When he told me it should still be there I began to questions myself and wonder had it really been there. I had driven into town to have dinner and after dinner went back to verify that it was indeed gone. I called the seller back to give him the news.
He was prepared to call the police in the morning to report it, but called a family member who fessed up to a minor sea-do accident and the big "cover-up" of sneaking to get it fixed. Bad, but better than stolen. He called me back to let me know. And I'm very happy there isn't a thief in my neighborhood.
When I'm finished hanging the artwork I'll be taking all new photos of this house and posting them. Hopefully the changes will attract a buyer. So the plan was to come home, have a bottle of revive vitamin water and relax... I popped on to AR and found yesterday's post featured and so instead I'm off to answer comments.
I hope you all have a super Labor Day weekend, but please be safe.
