There were many people really upset last week when the home buyer tax credit wasn't extended for the "close date" for those under contract by April 30th.
I wasn't one of them.
I find it appalling that congress continually lumps multiple bills together and think it's wrong.
So tonight when the Senate passed the bill that is only about the 3 month extension of the tax credit I'm wondering if they are finally getting the message.
I'm amazed and quite happy that this legislation passed without something being lumped in with it.
So now if Obama signs it... those buyers who were under contract, but didn't get closed by today.... will have three more months to get the deal done.
