When you tell a client "you have to be at the court house first thing in the morning to get this recorded before the mail arrives" you have to go to work early. I've been struggling to get a closing done since since mid august and finally was getting to a good place on that deal when I decided it was TIME to sit down and fix my email.
I'd gotten reminder emails from att.net that my blah blah blah had to be upgraded to keep working with outlook. I went and checked all my settings, I was still getting emails, everything seemed fine. Then on October 16th.... BAM. Outlook was not syncing with my email provider.
Now of course I could still go on line to get and send emails. Heck I could even still get and send email on my phone. But I have really great long term organization going on in my outlook program so was totally bummed. Today was THE day I was determined to make it work. So after my early morning I dedicated the next 6 hours to on line customer service, on the phone lack of customer service, on line support, and just trying different buttons.
Finally around 4 p.m. success.
I'm feel all good even though it took me six hours. THEN... (meow meow want to know if I'm ever going to have time to play)
One of my agents comes into my office and says, "look at this". Yes, now one of my websites has a broken something something and I've reported it to the IDX gurus and I'm waiting for a fix. It's always something isn't it?
Now off to go do a quick walk-through of the house before closing tomorrow. I need to know that it's was cleaned well for my buyer. I want her only to have to unload the truck and move in She's been the favorite buyer client I've had in a long time. One that I know will be my friend a long time in the future.
PS- if anyone of you is having that issue with Outlook and bellsouth, give a call, maybe I can help.
