Oconee Springs Park- Swimming, camping, boating, convenience...
I've mentioned Oconee Springs Park in my you can camp at Lake Sinclair posts... but I wanted to take a closer look and show you how much more it has to offer: And you know how they say a picture is worth a thousand words... well I don't know about that, but I agree that these speak volumes about the ammenities available at Oconee Springs Park. Take a look.

And what you have in that series of photos is that you can swim on the beach, launch your boat at the ramp and park your trailer, there's a store and lots of ice, there are cabins for camping and a large pavilion for getting together. And of course there are RV sites as well. It makes for a wonderful day trip or even a week at the lake. Here's the Oconee Springs Park site where you can check hours and call for availablity to camp. Also available here is propane, gas for the boat and snacks from the store to make it a perfect get-a-way.
And after you stay at the park if you decide you want your own place on Lake Sinclair, give me a call. I can help with that.

This reminds me of Golden Lake in Circle Pines, where I used to go when I was a kid. A lake where people actually swam in the water and didn't just sit on shore and look pretty like they do in California. :)
Tammy-A great write up for this place. It is great having all those amenities. Makes the camping experience much nicer and more relaxing.
Tammy, It is such a great time for all outdoors activities especially if the heat will abate a little bit.
Elizabeth- the beach area and the lake was filled with families having fun yesterday. Best way to combat the heat we are having
Sharon- I'm a day trip there and back girl myself, but for campers... it is great.
Debbie- the water one of the best ways to cool off right now.
