What's a Halloween gift you can give?

I love cute, clever and easy and that was the route I went this year. I have to admit that I didn't invent this idea, but I, like always, modified it. I saw one of these made from an EMPTY wine bottle as a decoration in the office of my favorite closing attorney last week.  But hey, who would ever give an empty wine bottle to anyone.  That's just rude.

So you will need a few things,

  1. Bottle of wine
  2. Gauze
  3. Wiggly eyes
  4. Tape

Then start at the top add a little bit of tape to hold the gauze in place. Then wrap up the "mummy" and either tape or tuck into place. You could also use glue to hold in place if you want.  Then after they drink the wine they can keep the mummy for year after year to decorate for Halloween. It is even really cool to put some LED white Christmas lights into the bottle and you could cover the cord with gauze as well.

I'll give you an "A" for creativity!

And you know I'd not be happy with an empty wine bottle!

Ron and Alexandra Seigel - Alex, I saw an empty one and was charmed and decided to put my own spin on it.

Rob Thomas I have a couple of closings this week so I'm going to get them both one, maybe wine and maybe a little something else in a bottle.

Pat Starnes I love it for sure

Kimo Stowell not sure if I can get any of the pets to go for the theme or not.

Thom Abbott I like A's

Sharon Altier, SFR It could have band-aids too for someone who'd been in some sort of accident.  Lots of variations

Anna Banana Kruchten glad it was the Tuesday post and people still have time to use the idea.

Carol Williams it was so easy

Roger D. Mucci and it would work for a bottle of scotch too.

I love this. You are so darn clever. I used to make hot dogs wrapped like this with strips of croissant dough and then mustard eyes.

Karen Fiddler, Broker/Owner you know you could do this with a water bottle for kids to go with that hotdog. LOL

Debbie Reynolds maybe a favorite past client who sent you a referral needs a pop by?

Lisa Von Domek I'm such a Halloween fan, but I'm already re-thinking the idea to work for Santa at Christmas too.  I can wrap up a santa or maybe a raindeer.
