Opportunity in Forest Lake Village, bank owned with lots of potential

It's a roomy house that has some issues.  There have been several roof leaks, around the fireplace, around the waste water vent pipe and even the air handler drip pan. The roof is also nearing the end of it's life. The stove and refrigerator are gone, There are places some sheet rock needs repair and the paint and carpet well they are dreadful.

So why in the world would want to buy this home?

well it has 1996 sq. ft. on the main level, and an additional 560 downstairs (above grade) and the tax assessment on it is $161,000.  It's on the market for $119,900.  It has an attached double garage, paved drive and it's located in a very convenient neighborhood, has deeded lake access and the HOA fees are only $65 a year.  Nope that's not a mistake, it's an annual cost, not a monthly one.

Check out the inside photos.  It really does have a ton of potential. Call our office for a showing appointment.

Tammy Lankford, Even with the problems you cited, this home should be top on the list of many buyer prospects. Definitely need to push a 203k with this one to broaden your coral of buyers.

What bargain and even with some work to be done it will make someone a nice home. I like the setting and a buyer will too.

The home has great curb appeal, so I am thinking this will be a good investment for someone!
