In the years I've shown property I've found leaks, live bugs, dead bugs, once I found two snakes in a closet and today I found fleas. LOTS of fleas. I have discovered a home that has storm damage and one that has been robbed. The one thing all these homes had in common... NOT my listing.
And every time I do the right thing and immediately while I'm still at the home. Always. Once when a house had storm damage it wasn't recent. It had rained in the hole in the ceiling for months. The listing agent had no idea.
Now I'm not about to claim that I visit my 7 unoccupied homes daily, but not more than a couple of weeks goes by without me popping in them. I take my "spiff it up kit" in my car and take care of things that need attention. I make sure the thermostat is set, the lawn is cut and things are generally secure and in place.
I feel it's part of my job for my absentee sellers to keep an eye on their property. So if you are ready to sell and want to hire a company that will check on your place from time to time and you have moved already, call Lane Realty. We're happy to help.

Tammy,
Of course You would do that. You care, and I would be delighted to send a referral your way, any old day. A
That is good of you to do that. I no longer will do the debugging or swishing of toilets but have people I will refer that will do it for a small price. They never seem offended when I suggest it is time.
You are a good agent. Your clients are lucky to be working with you.
Tammy, That's a great service you are providing for your vacant listings. I know your clients trust you to keep an eye out for them. Keep up the Great Work!
Keeping an eye on a home that is vacant is very important, big things can happen in a short amount of time.
Hi Tammy Lankford, we are two peas in a pod. Most all the listings I have had are 2nd homes and I do exactly the same thing. I have a bucket with a small hose and broom and WD40 - gloves - pruning shears and tool kit with tape! All to help out my customers whether they are buyers or sellers. It is what makes you "different and better"!
Tammy, I'm not surprised you go the extra mile for your sellers and make sure their vacant homes are watched over. Just wow to all the things you've seen at other agents listings, that's terrible.
Good Morning Tammy - that is why you creat value for your clients and stand out. Congratulations.
Tammy
When an power is away or the house vacant its, a good to keep an eye on the home and check it out.
Good luck and success.

I also keep an eye on my vacant listings. I would certainly hire you to list my Lake Sinclair home if I had one. I like an agent that cares.
It's that kind of dedication to your sellers that makes you the agent to choose!
